Testing memory cards in cameras is the primary purpose of this web site. Each camera is tested in a consistent setup with several memory cards and the performance of each card is analyzed. The results include the write speed during continuous shooting and a measurement of the number of shots that can be taken during 30 seconds of continuous burst shooting.
For every camera the performance of each memory card is presented in a table which can be sorted by write speed, card type, capacity and price. The detailed analysis includes details about buffer capacity for each image mode (RAW+JPEG, RAW and JPEG). For each camera model specific cards are recommended for fastest performance and best value.
